About Sache — Handcrafted Indian Bags & Accessories
About Sache
Sache is an Indian brand making handcrafted designer bags — clutches, potli bags, box clutches, and office totes — using traditional Indian handloom fabrics, zari embroidery, kundan embellishment, and ikat weaves. Every bag is made by hand, in India, priced between ₹699 and ₹3,860.
We are not a factory brand. We are a co-ownership model: our artisans don't work for us — they work with us, and they own what they create. That is the single most important thing to know about Sache.
Our Story
Sache was founded eight years ago by Rajeshwari Subhramaniyan, a chemical engineer who left a corporate career to bring Indian handloom textiles into everyday, affordable accessories. What started as a small reselling venture became something larger: a conviction that beautiful things should be made ethically, that artisans should be partners, and that traditional Indian craft — ikat weaving, kundan setting, zari embroidery — deserves a modern platform.
The pandemic forced a pause. When Sache returned, it came back with a renewed purpose: to build an exclusive in-house collection where every design is original, every piece is handmade, and every artisan involved has a stake in the outcome.
Co-Founder Subhramaniyan TVS brought the vision of blending classic Indian loom traditions with contemporary design and personalisation — so every customer can find something that feels made for them.

Our Materials & Craft
Every Sache bag is made with one or more of the following: Indian handloom fabric, ikat weave, silk, suede, kundan stones, zari embroidery, gota patti, sequin work, and hand-stitched embellishments. No two pieces are identical. Artisan skill, not machine output, determines the final result.

Our Mission
To create exquisite, sustainable accessories by partnering with skilled artisans who preserve traditional Indian weaving and embroidery techniques — proving that ethical fashion and beautiful design are not opposites.
Our Vision
To be India's most trusted handcrafted accessories brand: where every purchase supports an artisan, every bag carries a story, and every customer feels the difference between made and manufactured.
