Pack size

A little mirror-work trunk with a printed Ganesha panel on the lid, a gold gota border and a latch that actually clicks shut — the modak box guests keep on the shelf long after Ganesh Chaturthi is over.

Please note: boxes are supplied empty. Modaks and sweets shown in the photographs are there to show scale and are not included.

At 4 by 4 by 3 inches it holds roughly eight to ten modaks, or the same in dry fruits, chocolates or sweets. The hinged lid and front clasp make it feel like a keepsake box rather than packaging, which is exactly why it stops being a sweet box and becomes a trinket box on the dressing table.

  • Size 4" x 4" x 3" — holds about 8–10 modaks
  • Supplied empty, ready to fill — you choose and add the contents
  • Hinged lid with a front latch — opens and closes properly, no loose lid to lose
  • Gold gota lace with mirror shisha work framing the lid and running around the sides
  • Printed Ganesha panel in the traditional marigold-and-halo style
  • Assorted colours — magenta, mint green, orange and white, sent as a mix unless you specify

Frequently asked questions

Are modaks or sweets included?
No. We sell the empty boxes only — you fill them with your own modaks, dry fruits or chocolates. The sweets in the photographs are there to show scale.

How many modaks does it hold?
About 8 to 10, depending on size. At 4 by 4 by 3 inches it takes a generous portion without looking half full.

What is a good Ganesh Chaturthi return gift?
A modak box that outlives the festival. Guests use this one afterwards for jewellery, coins or kumkum, which a paper or plastic sweet box never gets used for.

What is the minimum order quantity?
25 boxes, which is our smallest pack. Choose Set of 25, Set of 50 or Set of 100 above — every pack works out to ₹320 per box.

Can I choose the colours?
Yes, on any pack you can specify the colour mix. Otherwise boxes are sent as an assorted festive mix of magenta, mint, orange and white.

I need a quantity that isn't listed. Can you help?
Yes — for 150, 200 or any custom count, send us your guest number and we will quote it directly.

How quickly can you dispatch?
In-stock packs dispatch in 5–7 working days; customised colour runs need 20–30 days, so order 4–6 weeks ahead of the festival.
